Light hearted, fun creative workshops. Tap into your creative side and discover your true potential.
What are they?
Movement is explored through Tai Chi forms and Qi Gong breathing exercises and postures. These exercises help to regulate the Chi flow throughout the body for better health, vitality, energy and focus in the present moment through body centred awareness.
Intuitive creative exploration and playfulness is applied to the art making process to give participants freedom to investigate their natural creative ability and process in a safe, fun and supportive environment.
Drawing exercises are used to expand and develop creativity exploring the ‘inner landscape’ to express thoughts, feelings, personal stories and experiences, through drawing and collage.
Tai Chi, often referred to as movement in meditation and Qi Gong breathing exercises will be used to clear and relax the mind, bring about inner calm, as well as ground the whole being. Bringing awareness to the present moment with kindness, love and compassion. Tai Chi and Qi gong exercises also help to build strength, stamina, flexibility, co-ordination and fitness.
The Relax Into Art Creativity workshops are aimed at enabling participants to learn relaxation techniques to help with stress, anxiety, depression as well as a whole range of physical benefits that can improve circulation, flexibility, range of movement, balance, coordination, heart function, and breathing.
Relax Into Art Creativity workshops can also help participants gain greater access to their own creativity, clearing and freeing up the mind to focus on developing artwork and build a visual art language through experimentation and learning new, or improving art skills and techniques.
